The Fondation Durandisse was created to ensure that the family's rich history, cultural identity, and connections are never lost to time. Through social media, community events, and now this website, the foundation serves as a gathering point for all Durandisse descendants.
The foundation's Facebook group has become a hub where family members share photos, stories, and reconnect with relatives they may never have met. Members from Haiti, the United States, Canada, and beyond participate in keeping the family's memory alive.
Looking ahead, the foundation plans to organize family reunions, create a scholarship fund for young Durandisse descendants, and expand the documentation of all family branches — especially the Fabre and Duperrier lines that still need more research.
